Consecration Mass for Businesses A Mass of Consecration for businesses was celebrated at the Parish of The Holy Trinity in Uruapan on Saturday December 10th at 6:00 p.m. Parish priest, Father Carlos Ortega Cerda reminded the attendees that consecration means loyalty, i.e. “if I consecrate, I can no longer remain the same”; he explained they were consecrating their businesses to God so they could be an honest service to society, and that Jesus and the Blessed Virgin of Guadalupe would help them in this new path they were beginning. In total 130 businesses were consecrated.Likewise, before the Eucharist they were told of the commitment they would acquire to pray the Rosary once a week in their businesses and what it meant to consecrate the latter to God through the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary. They were also given indications on how to make the prayer of consecration and the presentation of their offerings; approximately 300 people attended. At the end of the Mass, they were given their certificates. We give thanks to God for this blessing!
