Pentecost is the fulfillment of the promise of Jesus not to leave us alone. The advent of The Holy Spirit is that fulfillment....The Paraclete, the Third Person of God and the presence of His love.Sadly misunderstood and ignored by many. This presence of God is absolutely unique. He is the dispenser of the many gifts which Our Father through His Love for each of us, has given The Holy Spirit to bestow upon those He finds worthy.Come now oh Holy Spirit and fill our hearts, enkindle in us the fire of your love. Send forth now your Spirit upon each of us that you may renew the face of this earth.This prayer to the Holy Spirit is so badly needed in a world that is abandoning its Creator; that is abandoning its own identity and in doing so loosing its common sense and with it its reality.There can be no future without God. Yet, the world continues to ignore the signs of these times and is burying the continuing inspirations The Holy Spirit is providing each of us in these times.Come oh Holy Spirit and fill my heart. I hear you beloved Paraclete but I am weak against the things and ways of the world today. I need your presence within me. Oh beloved Holy Spirit, enkindle in me the fire of your love that I may never weaken, day by day, one day at a time, to say NO to the things and ways of the world and YES to the love of God, my Father.
