On Wednesday September 13th, arrived Our Lady of Guadalupe to the parish of San José Obrero of the People’s Committee, in the city of Quito. The relic image was brought from Mexico by Angelica Cantú, the Mission’s International Director of Development, and was escorted by the faithful in a procession through the vicinity of the Church where it was finally received by the parishioners and Mission members.

Fr. Orlando Corrales, parish priest of San José Obrero, celebrated a solemn welcoming celebration as a first step to the Consecration and Enthronement of Our Lady of Guadalupe that will follow in December, after due preparation of the parishioners.
