CONSECRATION TO THE SACREDHEART OF JESUSI ………………… give and consecrate myselfto the Sacred Heart of our Lord Jesus Christ,I offer up my person and my life, my actions,pains and sufferings, so that I may be unwillingto make use of any part of my being otherthan to honor, love and glorify the SacredHeart. This is my unchanging purpose,namely, to be all His, and to do all things forthe love of Him, at the same time renouncingwith all my heart whatever is displeasingto Him. I therefore take You, O SacredHeart, to be the only object of my love, theguardian of my life, my assurance ofsalvation, the remedy of my weakness andinconstancy, the atonement for all the faultsof my life and my sure refuge at the hour ofdeath.Be then, O Heart of goodness, my justificationbefore God the Father, and turn away fromme the strokes of his righteous anger. OHeart of love, I put all my confidence in You,for I fear everything from my own wickednessand frailty, but I hope for all things fromyour goodness and bounty.
