On December 29, the day the Feast of the Holy Family is celebrated, the Catholic Church convened the Panamanian people to walk for the Family, an initiative created to celebrate and defend the family. The event began with a Mass at the Maria Auxiliadora Temple of Don Bosco Technical Institute, celebrated by His Excellency, Monsignor Andres Carrascosa Coso, Apostolic Nuncio to Panama, and the walk started on one of the main avenues up to a stage where His Excellency, Monsignor Jose Domingo Ulloa, Archbishop of Panama, gave an emotional speech to thousands of Panamanians present, after which the Consecration of Families to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary was made.
