THE POWER OF INTERCESSORY PRAYERThe statement I wrote above, as title of this life testimony, is the actual manifestation of the Divine Mercy’s action, which I have lived and live myself at all times, thanks to the plea of love that you all, so generously have made and make to the Almighty, interceding for my wellbeing.As many Catholics, almost lightly, rather than truly convinced, I recommended or requested prayer, until three weeks ago, when my vision of life changed because the Lord made me feel His loving and generous hand, by listening and answering the prayers that you, my beloved brothers and sisters from the Mission for Love of God, and by all my other fellow brothers and sisters, who lovingly were saying and are still saying interceding for my spiritual and bodily health.For more than a year and a half, a tumor of almost an ounce grew in my face, in one of the salivary glands. The preliminary tests showed the presence of early stage cancerous cells. In the prep room, just before entering to the O.R., I was praying the Fifth Sorrowful Mystery, and I could feel the loving presence of Our Blessed Mother, she was tenderly cuddling me in her lap, so I could fall asleep trusting entirely that Her and Her Beloved Son were there with me, looking after every single detail, assuring me that everything will all right.After a successful three hour long surgery, during which undoubtedly the loving hand of the Lord intervened, and after an extremely fast and painless recovery, because there are not any of the undesirable sequels, such as a facial paralysis, and the lab results from the tissue extracted from the tumor are clear of cancerous cells. ¡I’m Ok, and healthy for the Glory of God!Only God can pay you for all your love.
