CANDLELIGHT VIGIL IN NEW ORLEANS AT SIGHT OF PROPOSED PLANNED PARENTHOOD

The Mission was present with the Relic Image of Our Lady of Guadalupe at the prayer vigil held on the proposed site of the new $4.2 million Planned Parenthood facility to be built in New Orleans. Planned Parenthood is set to construct a 7,000 to 8,000 square foot facility which currently does not perform abortions at these facilities. They have publicly stated that they will be performing abortions at this new site which will be the largest in Louisiana.However, to date, perhaps because of pro-life initiatives, no construction has begun on the center.
