On Sunday October 4th at 7:00 p.m., the Parish of the Divine Savior in the indigenous community of Caltzontzin in Uruapan, was consecrated to the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary. It was a very special moment in which 435 people participated and 25 families received the image of Our Lady of Guadalupe to enthrone Her in their homes. Missionaries from the 4 parishes the Mission is established in were also present at the Mass, which was celebrated by Fr. Rodolfo Villa by the request of the parish priest, Constancio Jimenez. During the homily, he spoke of the sorrow of Our Lady of Guadalupe for the legalization of abortion in Her beloved Nation and and how She wished for all of us to use the weapon God has given us: the Holy Rosary. In order to defeat evil and its influence and become true children of God. He also said that in consecrating and taking Her image with them, they were also taking Her home. At the end of the Mass, Fr. Rodolfo showed the community the Certificate of the Consecration of the Parish, which was signed by the National Coordinator of the Mission in Mexico, Angelica Cantu and the parish priest, Fr. Constancio Jimenez.
