Consecration of the Diocese of Queretaro

At 6:30 pm began the procession of the Image of Our Lady of Guadalupe from the Expiatory Temple to the Cathedral, where the Bishop of Queretaro, Msgr. Faustino Armendariz presided a Solemn Mass of Consecration of the Diocese and the State of Queretaro, to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary.In his homily, he exhorted the faithful by saying: "Dare to consecrate yourself to God, to belong only to Him, with all your being, with all your history, with all your reality!"After communion JRM addressed the faithful, inviting them to say the consecration prayers with a sincere and contrite heart and to prevent the grace of conversion that God was going to give them in virtue of their consecration, from dying, rather to have it grow every day.Msgr. Armendariz then consecrated the Diocese and the State of Queretaro and invited the 1,400 attendees to make their personal consecration to the Two Hearts.On August 26th, all the parishes of the Diocese consecrated their parishioners to the Hearts of Jesus and Mary in all their Sunday Masses, consecrating approximately 220,000 people.
