Sunday, November 13th, the Consecration of Pacora township to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary.The event started with a procession led by the Image of Our Lady of Guadalupe. During the walk, the neighbors places small altars with the images of Our Lady forming a path of honor towards the parish.During the Holy Eucharist celebrated at the Immaculate Conception Parish by Father Nelson Torres and co-celebrated by Father Luis Orlando Corrales, Father Alfredo Martinez and Deacon Juan Carlos Cabrera, the Consecration of the parish took place, while the representative of Pacora, Hugo Henriquez, did the consecration as well. Afterwards, the faithful proceeded with the consecration of the Families to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary. The image of Our Lady of Guadalupe is visiting as a pilgrim throughout the chapels which belong to the parish community and we are raising funds for the construction of a chapel in her honor. Father Luis Orlando Corrales, who was in charge of Pacora, traveled from Quito to participate in this beautiful celebration and gave a donation on behalf of the faithful in his community in Ecuador for the construction of the chapel. The honorable representative Katleen Levy contributed with a generous donation for this purpose.
