FELIPE GOMEZ ATTENDED THE CEREMONY OF THE APPOINTMENT OF THE NEW MILITARY BISHOP OF ECUADOR

On September 24th at 6:00 p.m. on the feast of Our Lady of Mercy, Patroness of the Armed Forces and the National Police, a ceremony was celebrated at the Basilica of the National Vow because of the appointment of the new Military Bishop of Ecuador, Msgr. Rene Coba Galarza. In this solemn ceremony the annual renewal of the Consecration of the Armed Forces and the National Police of Ecuador to the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary was also carried out.Gathered under the benevolent gaze of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and of Our Lady of Guadalupe, the Armed Forces and the Police attended as a single UNIT, as well as Church and Government Authorities, priests, Catholic faithful and foreigners visiting the Basilica as well as people in general with great excitement and respect for who, for many years, has demonstrated a tenacious work to sow the seed of Faith in all the fields of this blessed country. Felipe Gomez received special blessings for his work of evangelization from Msgr. Rene Coba and Cardinal Raul Vela.
