Renewal of the Consecration of the Parish of the Holy TrinityOn December 12th in the city of Uruapan, Michoacan, the members of the Mission organized a procession on the occasion of the renewal of the Consecration of the Parish Territory of the Holy Trinity. During the procession the Sorrowful Mysteries of the Mission along with the Litanies to Our Lady of Guadalupe were prayed. The procession began at 6:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Our Lady of St. John to the Parish of the Holy Trinity in the company of 120 people, between those who had made their personal consecration, members of prayer cenacles and family members that have been visited by the missionaries. There was much order and devotion while the youth choir made everyone joyful as they sang “La Guadalupana”. After the procession, Fr. Carlos Ortega Cerda, the parish priest, continued with the celebration of the Holy Mass to renew the Consecration of the Parish. In his homily he explained that we should be docile like St. Juan Diego, who heard the voice of the Mother of God that called him to a special mission. That same day at noon, there was another Mass of Consecration to the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary where 300 people participated and 72 new families were given the kit of Our Lady of Guadalupe to proceed with the Enthronement and Consecration in their homes. In total, 700 people were consecrated in both Masses. Glory to God our Lord!
