Retreat for the Missionaries in UruapanOn Saturday January 30th the leader of Uruapan’s committee convened the 1st Retreat for Missionaries at the Parish of the Holy Trinity from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Representatives from the 4 Parishes where the Mission is present attended and the following aspects were discussed:1. The gathering began with the Hymn of the Mission so they could become more aware of the Mission’s charism.2. They began studying the encyclical “Redemptoris Missio” by St. John Paul II that speaks of the permanent validity of the missionary mandate. The purpose was for them to realize the importance of being missionaries in the Church and thus be able to perform their service in a better way.3. The Home Enthronement and Home Visits Programs were also reviewed to continue with the training for the Missionary Action.The retreat concluded with a prayer of thanksgiving led by the leader of the committee.
