During the week of May 18-21, 2018 missionaries of the Mission traveled to the Province of Marcona in Peru, which is located in the region of Ica approximately 8 hours from the Capital.
On Thursday, a work meeting for planning and revision was held with the team. That afternoon, our missionaries visited families in the area and accompanied them to enthrone the image of Our Lady of Guadalupe in their homes. At the end of the day our missionaries met at the Parish where the Rosary with the Mission’s meditations and intentions is prayed every Thursday.

The next day our missionaries met with the families that had an altar set for the enthronement of Our Lady in their houses. During the night they met and shared a meal with Father Isaac Vasquez, parish priest of Saint John of Marcona. During the Mass of 7pm Father encouraged the Mission to continue with the home visits to the faithful as a preparation for Pentecost. At the end of the mass, our missionaries invited the faithful to contact the Mission to continue with the work of the enthronements of the Two Hearts in the homes of Marcona.

On Saturday, the Mission held a meeting with the parish priest to present to him the Mission´s work plan for 2018. We are very grateful to have been allowed to continue to work in this community.
After the presentation, in a festive environment we began to live the Vigil of Pentecost where the Mission had the great honor to participate as organizers and promoters of the adoration, prayer and worshiping.
Finally, on Sunday our missionaries lived and enjoyed the Solemnity of Pentecost.

It’s worth mentioning that Marcona was consecrated to the Two Hearts on 2014. Since that year until now, more than 100 images of Our Lady of Guadalupe have been given away for the home enthronement. During this trip the Mission enthroned another 10 images.
