On 6th December 2012 at 3pm, shortly after his arrival in Costa Rica, for his first visit, John Rick Miller met with the vice president of Costa Rica, Mr. Alfio Piva The meeting was very successful and Mr. Piva totally agreed in supporting the consecration of Costa Rica to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary. We will be in contact with Archbishop Hugo Barrantes to be able to proceed with this endeavour.
At 6pm, that same day, at the National Sanctuary and Votive Temple of the Sacred Heart of Jesus a beautiful Consecration Mass was celebrated by Fr. Mauricio Viquez, concelebrants were Fr. Alfonso Mora, Episcopal Vicar of Liturgical Pastoral for the Metropolitan Curia in San Jose, and Fr. Bernardo Mora
On December 7th, Mr. Miller visited the Shrine of Our Lady Help of Christians where the mausoleum of Blessed Maria Romero is located.
At 6pm on Dec 7th, a Mass was celebrated at the Church La Inmaculada in Liberia, Guanacaste recorded by Mr. Mario Chaverri, Coordinator of television Channel 36 of Guanacaste. The gift of the Pilgrim Image of Our Lady of Guadalupe, touched by the Sacred Original, was received by the people of Costa Rica.

On Dec 8th, Bishop Vittorino Girardi from Tilarán Liberia met with members of the Mission and who very graciously received us in his home.

On Dec 8th, 2012; Mass of Initial Consecration with Mr. Miller´s talk at the Sanctuary of Santo Cristo de Esquipulas in Santa Cruz, Guanacaste. 250 people were consecrated. Fr. Luis Martín Espinosa, Pastor of this parish is very much in favor of promoting the Mission.
